Responsible Production

Controlled Organic Cultivation & Wild Harvesting: Our organic products are sourced from pesticide-free cultivation, entirely free from GMOs and irradiation. Wild-harvested raw materials are gathered using traditional methods.
Gentle Harvesting Methods compliant with the EU Organic Regulation: The extraction of our raw materials strictly adheres to the legal criteria defined for ecological wild collection. This ensures that natural populations are protected and the ecological regenerative capacity on-site is fully preserved.

Traceability

100% traceability and product safety through complete transparency at all stages: Raw material extraction, processing, storage, delivery, bottling, labeling and sale.

Naturalness and purity

Our products come from natural plant sources and also contain the full spectrum of nutrients in the end product.

Our company has been certified organic since 2005 under the control number DE-007, issued and monitored by the Prüfgesellschaft ökologischer Landbau mbH in Karlsruhe. Here you can download the certificates in German and English as a PDF file and download them here.

Our suppliers must also have their farms certified by internationally recognized inspection bodies (e.g. KIWA, Control Union, Ecocert, IBD). The prerequisite is compliance with the strict requirements - from pesticide-free cultivation to careful processing.

AMAZONAS Naturprodukte stands for moral and ethical values and expects its raw material suppliers to respect these and to represent them in the same spirit. Compliance with our Code of Conduct is one of the most important prerequisites for a business relationship between AMAZONAS Naturprodukte and its raw material suppliers.

The individual points of the Code are as follows:

Our suppliers are obliged to comply with all applicable national and international laws and regulations.
Our suppliers are obliged to carry out their production processes, from harvest to end product, in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
Our suppliers are obliged to treat their employees with dignity and respect and to respect their human rights.
Our suppliers respect the following standards: avoidance of child labor, compliance with working time regulations, equal treatment without discrimination, safe and healthy working conditions and fair employment relationships.
Our suppliers commit to complying with strict environmental standards and resource-efficient manufacturing processes that meet the statutory requirements for organic production.
